A college is a new beginning in any student's life. When you start a student teachers' life in a prestigious college in Trivandrum, it gives you a sense of responsibility as well as freedom.
It was my very first day in college on 6th of January 2021, after alot of hustle bustle, formalities and sincere hard efforts to get admission in this college.
As any other newbie, I was super excited and perplexed, happy and elicited at the same time. I wore my new kurta and matching pant since it's my first day in college.
When I entered my college..I could see a variety of colorful masks around me due to covid protocols. But even with the masks, I could see many illuminating eyes sharing a smile with me , so neither I didn't have a second thought of sharing a grin with them.
The commencement of the new B.Ed batch started immediately at the auditorium with a beautiful prayer song by our faculties.
After that there was an icebreaking session by Maya ma'am, as it actually benefited the student teachers to break the starting trouble and become more energetic. All were very happy and cheering.. their happiness spoke beyond the colourful masks.. I started imagining people faces without masks and that was fun😄..all the students were so lucky to feeling blessed to be in this college at the same time of a pandemic situation. As I looked right above the stage I saw the Motto of our mission..it was unfolding the light for who could see "the world in a grain of sand"..
'DOMINUS MEA ILLUMINATIO' - "God is my illuminator"..
