The saree day...by Reshma Ramachandran 10/02/2021


The day started with usual prayer at the auditorium due to the inauguration of ceremony of the PTA. My father came to join the meeting and joined as one of the executive member of the PTA. It was very difficult to be wrapped in six yards of silk after college days. But it was fun and gave all of us a tint of our school teachers.
Afternoon was exciting, as the talent hunt began with M.ed students. They were so amazing and they I still remember the shadow art form they performed, especially the bhahubali scene. 
Tomorrow is the day for mathematics and physical science...all the best guys..the stage is all yours ....

Till I enter into the school I was a student, in all aspects. But now Iam a teacher...a prospective teacher. Later it was studying for exams, practicing for youth festivals, dance music and what not...but now from the limelight to the back stage, arranging the Carmel day at school, doing makeup to the students for dance performances and giving them confidence to reduce the back stage tensions...this moment I realised I grew up from that 15 year old school kid to a teacher. Experiencing the same old school program days with a little twist in my role..And iam proud to say that iam a teacher by choice.
