An eventful day...by Reshma Ramachandran. U 15/03/2021


A very busy and engaging day it was. So many events occurred this day. All the students gathered at the seminar hall along with principal sir and other teachers to get a feedback from us about the school induction program. One member from each group came and shared their experiences and reflection they got from the visit. 
 Today marked the official inauguration and oath taking ceremony of the 65th college union on behalf of our beloved principal, teachers and my friends. 

After lunch break, the women's club have arranged a self defense program for girls in connection with the women's Day celebration. 
A team from Raksha police department cane to our college for the session. It was incredible. I got a chance to sing a prayer song for the program and iam very much happy about that.  They gave us many valuable self defense information and techniques. 

The day winded up by having a sweet and yummy laddu which was distributed by our college union members as the part of the official launch of the union inauguration.

Till I enter into the school I was a student, in all aspects. But now Iam a teacher...a prospective teacher. Later it was studying for exams, practicing for youth festivals, dance music and what not...but now from the limelight to the back stage, arranging the Carmel day at school, doing makeup to the students for dance performances and giving them confidence to reduce the back stage tensions...this moment I realised I grew up from that 15 year old school kid to a teacher. Experiencing the same old school program days with a little twist in my role..And iam proud to say that iam a teacher by choice.
