Weekly reflection on practice teaching.

This marks the second week on Carmel Girls Higher Secondary School, Vazhutacaud. i have my fellow beings from my college, Mahima and Merin. The rapport we build among us was amazing. New friendships developed in school as well, with the teachers and non-teaching staffs. There is always a special bond with the students. Imparting knowledge and most importantly values in students is essential and the main aim of the teaching should be value inculcation.

Till I enter into the school I was a student, in all aspects. But now Iam a teacher...a prospective teacher. Later it was studying for exams, practicing for youth festivals, dance music and what not...but now from the limelight to the back stage, arranging the Carmel day at school, doing makeup to the students for dance performances and giving them confidence to reduce the back stage tensions...this moment I realised I grew up from that 15 year old school kid to a teacher. Experiencing the same old school program days with a little twist in my role..And iam proud to say that iam a teacher by choice.
