It was such a wonderful day. This days marked the sports day at Carmel girls' higher secondary school at G.V.Raja pavillion. 

The event was inaugurated by Shri. p.prakash IPS. The event which started with a march past of the four houses along with NCC and SPC. 
I had duty for shot put and I was able to pull it off well with the support of the teachers. Seeing all these children racing, jumping and enjoying, I remembered my school days and how I used to compete in the events. Seeing them having such courage and facing, accepting failures with grace and victories with pride, I too give it a shot in the event. At the end we had our overall champions in sports . But iam sure everyone earned a beautiful day along with their friends , teachers and family.

Till I enter into the school I was a student, in all aspects. But now Iam a teacher...a prospective teacher. Later it was studying for exams, practicing for youth festivals, dance music and what not...but now from the limelight to the back stage, arranging the Carmel day at school, doing makeup to the students for dance performances and giving them confidence to reduce the back stage tensions...this moment I realised I grew up from that 15 year old school kid to a teacher. Experiencing the same old school program days with a little twist in my role..And iam proud to say that iam a teacher by choice.
